11speed Rear Derailleur
Hi I'm updating my winter bike (currently in "dry dock") from being a triple eight speed to a double 11speed with all new Shimano 105 components. For a 11-32 rear cassette, do I need a medium cage rear derailleur? Or does it have to be long? And what length of chain (links) will be needed ...

Cycling in Rhodes?
Hi all - family holiday booked for Rhodes (Kalithea) this summer. I’ve been given a pass out to do a day or two of cycling - but not sure what kind of road cycling is available on the island? Has anyone got any experience of cycling out there? Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Majorca - Routes from Soller. GPX needed
Hi all Last minute family holiday to Majorca booked for next week. I've managed to get hold of a road bike to do 2 or 3 cycles. Staying in Soller - does anyone have any readymade GPX files I could be sent of rides from there? Sa Callobra would be a priority - but happy to take any recommendations. P...

Re: Round the World in 80 days
Out of interest (and quite unrelated to this magnificent record), what are the "rules" for a "Round The World" trip. Clearly there must be some flying/airplanes involved. Similarly, go to the North (or South) Pole and you could do a RTW in minutes; but also you can't expect peop...

Re: Cateye Volt 400 - always "on" (a bit)
Thanks for info all
I contacted Cateye UK about it (Zyrofisher) and they told me to take it back to the shop with proof of purchase (which luckily I had). The shop (Evans) have agreed to send it back under warranty.

Cateye Volt 400 - always "on" (a bit)
Morning I have a Cateye Volt 400 light. I noticed as soon as I bought (earlier this year) it that when it's turned "off" - the LED is still emitting. Not much, hardly at all - but something. And as I found out the other day when I went on holiday and came back, enough to deplete the batter...

Re: Open Cycling - Coast to Coast in 1 day
Hi, And how do you plan to ride on the day? Without trying to sound too insulting, like groups in sportives or fast audax where you cycle together at times but not that chummy :) Not looked too close at the details on the site so I don't know how its being promoted? Hi I've ridden a few 100miler sp...

Thanks for all of the positive and helpful replies everyone. Have signed up to do the Coast to Coast in 1 day - and managed to find another 5 cycling mates to sign up too. So have hatched a plan to drive to Whitby the day before, have arranged a one way transport for 6 rides and 6 bikes from Whitby ...

First he is on a "training ride" and cycling the complete cost of England, Wales and Scotland at the same rate of 240miles a day on consecutive days.
Great to follow him on the link http://www.artemisworldcycle.com/ and also on Strava
