Re: Why everyone wants to stop us putting the clocks back?

There has always been this debate regarding adding and subtracting this 'rogue' hour. I have been led to understand that it was first actioned during or leading upto the first world war to enable the farmers and factory workers to work in day light hours. Why didn't they, or do not they who need to ...

Re: energy drink + upset stomach

After reading previous comments I am beginning to think " What is wrong with me?". Any ride I have a drink after every 5 miles and an energy gel every 10 miles, this may have something to do with concerns re low blood sugars being diabetic, but I certainly feel the benefit of both intakes....

Re: ...why my nose runs?

Yeah, right on I suffer when it is cold and put it down to that.

Mainly when walking though not so much, but some, when cycling.

Like others Winter/Spring related.

A good blow gives a modicum of relief.

From previous post I get left nostril and am right handed, awkward beggar aren't I.

Bike Radar

I know, I know. Wrong site, but I was just wondering if any one out there, who is blasphemous enough to be party to the Bike Radar site, if they were having any problems logging on or is it just me? I am getting just headings of the various sections of the home page but just a blank page if I try to...

Re: What are my chances?

From previous posts probably very low, but, and it's a big but, you only need to be the one in a million and there is no come back.

For this very reason I always wear mine on the road bike. But very strangely not on my MTB on the road. :? :? :? :?

Re: Prescription Sunglasses For Cycling

Ditto 'ians'. But I just had single prescription lenses with photo chromatic treatment early last year at a cost of £120. Never a problem. So to previous poster who did have problems then I would be referring it back to Optilabs. Good luck with the glasses as they protect you far better than normal ...
