Re: Southern Trains and cycles
Hi, my wife and I are doing an ebike tour of the south east next month, ending in Brighton. Actually it’ll end in Romsey, but there’s no ‘nice’ way to ride across the Portsmouth/Southampton section so we intend to get the train from Brighton to Southampton. Our bikes apparently can’t be booked on any ...

Re: Planning a Bickepacking UK trip in August
Hi Charles, There are a few ideas in this thread, including some ideas in Norfolk. I don't know that area well but others will. https://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?t=159601 We did a trip in the Peak District a few years ago (mentioned in the thread) which uses old railway lines and quiet roads ...

Options for more upright position
Hi, 18 months ago I made a silly purchase, and bought a gravel bike. This is how it looks at the moment: https://i.imgur.com/6pvmYyl.jpeg I need to get a more upright position to be comfortable on the bike, as the forward leaning position required to use the drop-bars using the current setup doesn't ...

Cheers

Re: Cycling in Miami
Hi everyone, Thanks for your response. I just wanted to give an update, since I've now been here for 8 days. I've commuted to work almost every day, 20km to site. 25km+ on the way back, I have enjoyed taking a longer routes back to the hotel. I hired a bike. And the company, City Bikes were really ...

Rear wheel ticking noise
Hi everyone. I have a Canyon Endurace 7 road bike, 2 years' old, with a Shimano 105 R7100 groupset. I maintain it myself, but frankly - routine checks and adjustments aside - I've never had any need to do anything since it came out of the box. I'd estimate I've only covered about 3k miles in the time ...

Re: Fairlight Secan 2.5
Hi I can tell you later on the seat height later on as I am not at home yet but I did have to use a shorter stem for me. Fairlight have a website that gives you a good idea about the size of bike that may fit you.
Cheers John.
