Re: Regensburg to Prague Cycle path

thanks for your comments,

Unfortunately we only have 15 days and so we will need to find a quick way to get back to Donaueschingen, I guess it will be the rail or a rented car.

Tinribs, apart from safety, where the campsites in chech republic nice? toiletes, shops, etc? and a last question, did you camp in Regensburg and Prag? could you recommend a place to stay in these places?

Thanks a million :)

Regensburg to Prague Cycle path

Hi,

Me and my girlfriend are planning to follow the danube in 2 weeks, looking at maps I realised we would be cycling near Prague and after some research online, I found that there is some sort of cycle path between the city of Regensburg and Prague.

I have tried to find more information but without any results.

Does anyone of you have any information about this path? We don't feel confident cycling on heavy traffic roads.

Any tips on the German danube cycle path will all be welcome :) we will be camping all the way. (if the weather is not too bad)

Many thanks! :)

Re: Catalunya trip

Hi Andy,

I'm glad you enjoyed cycling in my country. the truth is that the area you picked is in my opinion one of the best in Catalunya. I also did the via verda a month ago and I agree with you, it is a nice and quiet way to go from pirenees to the sea :)

Re: Garonne canal and canal du midi etc etc

Hi Robert.

Thanks for your reply. I think I'll give it a second thoght. I don't have many holidays and I didn't like what you said about the canal being a little boring.

Maybe I could do some part of the canal and then head direction my town near barcelona, but for that I don't think I would have enough time with 8 days. As I would have to cross the pirenees it gets more dificult to calculate the time, as I have never cycled a pass and I don't know how far I could go in one day.

Re: Garonne canal and canal du midi etc etc

Hi,

I am thinking about doing the canal de garone + midi on early september. could anyone tell me how many days do I need to cycle from Bordeaux to Narbone.

I also guess there are a lot of campsites all the way.

Many thanks,
Albert

Holland tour (10 days)

Hello everybody,

I am planning a cycle trip in Holland with my girlfriend. We plan to stay in the country for 10 days. Could anybody recomend a route to follow. I've been looking around the net and I only can find small trips, but not long routes. I would like to see the best places in the country and spend arround 3 days in Amsterdam.

Any help will be very welcome :D

Many thanks,
Albert
