Oops! Sorry wrong forum - doesn't bode well!
If I type in NZ and just want to search Touring & Expedition, I get a list of all other foums - the top hit being a 24 page The Tea Shop entry. The next item is regarding how much does cycling cost per KM.
The drop down menu for specific Touring & Expedition doesn't seem to have any effect.
How would you reccommend to search for touring new zealand specifically?
Sorry if I appear dumb!
Thanks
Paul

Message Boards & Search Facilty Frustration
Can someone please explain how to use the Search facility?
I want to tour New Zealand. How do I find information that would be useful?
I have never been able to fathom how this potentially invaluable feature works on here.
I have no trouble with other search engines. Is it me or this particular one?

Hi, thanks,
Brand new Tektro's just fitted 3 days ago. To replace Avid Shorty 6 which weren't great at stopping.
Have cleaned rims (Rigida Sputnik) twice and realigned/adjusted pads twice.
Read SB first!
I'd be pi**ed off if a set of new Kool Stop pads all round didn't cure the problem - but I suppose it's only the front that needs attending to.
At full emergency stop pressure, the performance is excellent.

Just bought the Union Bike Tool stand from www.onyourbike.co.uk - £59.99 delivered. Appears very good value when compared to the very high cost of many others. No problems securely holding my saddlebag laden touring bike.
Thanks folks for the recommendations.

Any suggestions/recommendations for an adjustable workstand capable of supporting a touring bike at a comfortable height?

It's not as simple as it might appear.
Where's a bloke's crotch?
I never get the same measurement twice.
When I was being measured for a Longstaff a decade or so ago, George gave me one end of his Stanley tape measure and told me to put it to where it hurts. I can't remember now whether it was right, left or central.
You can't get very confused by the heel on pedal method as a starting point.

Another option would be the 2007 Dawes Horizon from the ever helpful and recommended folks at Spa Cycles
http://www.spacycles.co.uk/products.php ... 1b0s21p638
Which will give you mudguards if it rains and a rear rack to carry panniers or saddlebag.
And save you money!

As these seem hard to get hold of - noticed these Kore cantis, which look identical?
