Well, i think the stupid weather forecast has hit me now.
Severe weather warning for the north-east, about an inch of rain to fall today. That's from 5am, yet it's not raining outside.

Re: 25.5409636......
I so wish i lived further in the countryside with open country lanes, i'm stuck in south shields with no car of my own to get me to places.
I hate cycling 13 mile out of town and then there's hardly no where good to go after that.
Wonder what people who live in the centre of London feel like. ;O

Re: Stupid Weather Forecasts
I find the BBC Weather website quite accurate, even the met office it's the one on the telly that are crap for some weird reason.
Done that great north bike ride today, about 62 miles and it's been sunny/cloudy and no rain, perfect weather. Bit of a light head wind come in-land then once your back adjacent to the coast it's alright.
I also use my head too, i just look out of the window and look at the clouds, the wind etc.
If it's really windy, there's more of a chance it might rain due to the low pressure system over you, but high pressure there's less chance.
But, that's what the weather reports probably do.

Re: Drinks Bottles
£4.99 one from halfords with the cover, protects the mouth piece from getting dirty.

Cheap, cost effective.

Odd disc brakes problem.
Hi all,
I have a Giant Yukon FX2 with Shimano disc brakes.
When i'm not on the bike and i free wheel the front wheel i don't hear anything rubbing against it but when i'm on the bike the disc or brakes rubs against each other.
I can't get what the problem is, need any more info just post away.
Thanks if you can give me any solutions on what to do.

Hamsterly Forest Parking
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone remembers recently if there's a suitable parking area for a landrover freelander + horse trailer.
Last time i was there was a good 7 year ago and i can hardly remember if there's any suitable parking available.
Just want to know if anyone knows if there is, probably a long shot though.
I'll be the one cycling though, don't worry.

From my experience, don't buy from halfords. Unless your local halfords actually has proper mechanics and not cowboys.
Try a local small bike shop.

Off-roading shoes/waterproof?
Just wondering if there's any waterproof liners out there that cover these shoes: http://itemlistings.ebay.com/sdcsrp?fl= ... 51&product
Kinda like that, thin soles.
Size 12.
I tried searching google, but none that came up with my size, just wondering if anyone know's a website?
My shoes were caked in mud and rather wet when it started to rain, that's why i need a pair. It'll be easier to clean the waterproof liners then cleaning the shoes.
