What USB Port are you using, the front ones are the back ones?
Try using the back ones as they lead directly onto the motherboard.
EDIT: one other thing, if your using vista - make sure you have accepted the UAC if you have that enabled. I'm sure you have since it pops up anyways...

Re: Snow report
I got hit with a hail/sleet shower yesterday morning about 10:40 next to where i live, South Shields.
Brisk westerly and hail. Horrible, i was going to turn round and go back home but then i had seen blue skies behind so i just "rode" it out!

Re: Whats the best Android phone?
I have an HTC Wildfire. Battery lasts no more then 2 days. I downloaded JuiceDefender, turns off the internet when your phone is inactive in your pocket and saves battery life.
I got it to 2.5 days, but using the phone all the time and it will last not even a day and a half.

Re: FA set to act on Rooney
Footballers get payed so much yet they act like this?
Kicking a ball round a field earns you that much. . . sheesh. I should be a millionaire working in my job then. Full time job, same with everyone else!
These idiots won't know what to do when a real job comes around.
Rant over.

Garmin Edge 500 Won't Upload.
Tried the search function but didn't yield any solid results.
Went for a ride with the club yesterday with my new toy and it doesn't want to upload the route to garmin connect website.
It got stuck on uploading automatically for 30 minutes, it's a 200kb file!
I went for the manual upload and it says error. It's a FIT File, but the website does say it's supported!
Any ideas and if it's happened to you? Ta, matt.

Re: Parking
However there are many people with front gardens that serve no useful purpose (most people sit in their back garden) and could be used to park cars.
Thats exactly what i've been saying to my mother, i've got myself a car last year and it's quite annoying shifting cars around on one driveway.

Position yourself in the middle of the lane so at least no cars behind you will squeeze past.

Re: Cycle Computer
I've been researching which one to get the past week and had friends come to be with loads of suggestions on which one.
Here is a in-depth review of the 500, which compares the other models too.
http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2009/11/garm ... eview.html
Basically, if you don't want a fully sat-nav unit that can correct it's self if you go off route get the 500.
I know basically where i am most of the time anyways, i have a good sense of direction.
Here is some websites to consider for the cheapest options:
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/23 ... ab-reviews
http://www.heartratemonitor.co.uk/garmi ... ducts.html (This one is a horrible website to browse, it's all clumped!)
Then after that it's either £225+ on Evans/Wiggle and at LBS It's £250. (for the Garmin edge 500 HR + Cadence bundle).

Hope he gets mowed down in front of his family.
Lock him up and throw him in with the dogs.
