I'll be in my car (with bike aboard) meeting some friends who will be landing at La Rochelle airport. Does anyone know of a parking lot anywhere nearby that I can park my car for a week? It doesn't look (from Google) like there are obvious places like at many airports.

As so often in real life, no-one takes a blind bit of notice of any of those 'rules'. I've never seen anyone riding a bike here in a hi-viz vest. Maybe a small child. Once.

Surely you'd be better off taking the bike in a box, dumping it at Biarritz, then getting another box in Perpignan?
