Re: Highest Temperature for a Leisure Ride

I've been cycling today and it's been 39 degrees C. Fine whilst riding, but hot when you stop 8)

Can't see 'unread topics', 'new topics' etc

Anyone know where they've gone? When I log in there was always a choice of what to read. I can't see that now :(

The general problem with such "novelty" styles is that they change every year, and if you see something you like on the road, it's a fair bet that it's last year's model and will be rare.

Yep, should have bought one when I saw it. Thanks all the same :)

...where I can get a tartan shirt?

A bit like this one but in red? : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plaid-Shirt-Sle ... 1_4&sr=8-4

I met someone who had a cycling shirt, proper fitted that looked just like a plaid or tartan ordinary shirt. I think it had a bottle printed on the back pocket to make it look as if there was a bottle in the pocket too. Or am I going mad?

Re: Corby (Corbyn) Out B4 Xmas

"Moscow’s bombing campaign on Syria will “lead to further radicalisation and increased terrorism”, claimed David Cameron on 4 October.

Hypocrite.

Bombing in Syria will not make Britain a safer place it will just make BAE share value rise.
The money would be better spent on intel, border security & more police (All things Corbyn supports) but that wont help BAE shares rise.
I read yesterday that the US have planned destabilisation of Syria for many years because Assad wouldn't allow a Saudi/US pipeline through his country.
As ISIS are primarily funded & armed through Saudi that makes sense.
The prime minister has lied about the number of moderate fighters there are on the ground.
Everyone knows it but no one is calling it what it is, a lie.
It's his 45 minute moment.
If we are going to war I don't want a serial liar at the helm. He & his cabinet have proven over the last few years how little they actually care about Britain & how much they care for corporate greed.
This war & our intervention has more to do with the latter than former in my humble opinion.

We live in the true SW, not far from the Pyrénées, about an hour to Biarritz on the coast.

PM me if you'd like to ask anything :)
