Is it another change caused by covid?
Could be. Royal Mail and other delivery services are all reported to be suffering from staff shortages at the moment. We went four days last week with no post at all - and as my wife was running a competition which was nearing its deadline, there would normally be multiple items arriving daily. Instead they all turned up in a big batch on the fifth day.
Maybe... I'll be keeping an eye out for the postman today. Thanks for all the replies.

Re: Cycling in croc sandals

Can't answer that one, but I do recall an article ( 100 cols cycle tour? ) in what was think in either the CTC magazine or Cycling Plus and there was a guy who bungied a small stuff sac under his saddle.. he toured in crocs using studded platform pedals...if I can dig the article out, I'll post details.

Re: Sales methods - should prices be included?

Maybe one solution would be to have a separate board for sales items titled: Open to offers. Though as a seller, I would find this rather tedious if I was in a position of receiving numerous offers, all of which would require a reply to the bidder.

Somehow I cant really get my head round the idea of " sealed bids" "blind auctions" "make me an offer" "look at in on ebay"
Does anyone think we should have a policy, like other forums, where you should have to state a price for your item? After all it could be price or " nearest offer"
I agree too, despite the fact the selling an item with no advertised price and ' open to offers' appears on one hand a fairly reasonable way of selling, there is a possibility the sale boards could turn into an eBay style bidding site if many others followed the same course.

I removed mine, fitted a converter shim from SJS Cycles, and fitted a standard inch-and-an-eighth one.Moulton stem.jpg

If anyone wants mine like the above, they're welcome to it for the price of the postage.

Of course ! - I'd forgotten about shim availability.

Moulton TSR fork steerer / stem diameter

One for Moulton TSR owners. I'm aware these bikes run on a 1" aheadsets. Am I also correct in thinking they come equipped or need a matching 1" aheadstem? or are the bikes supplied with a 1' 1/8" shim ?

Can't move for bikes @ Wheelbase in Staveley - a fair few are still in boxes awaiting assembly.
