Re: North-West Highland Loop - Advice needed
My Brother and I did a route from Ullapool up the west coast to Durness and then across to Thurso a couple of years ago and we loved it. My only comments on your route are on the sections to the south. The road from Inverness to Ullapool is quite busy and I'm not sure how much fun that would be. Ditto the road from Alness to Inverness coming south again which is the main road north so is very busy. My advice would be to consider taking the Highland Cyclebus to Ullapool. It runs everyday I think and would cut out that section. Coming back you could jump on the train at Alness to take you to Inverness.

City Night Line Sleepers - Germany
We're hoping to do some touring in Europe this year and planning on using the City Night Sleepers from Amsterdam to Munich and Munich to Venice. Has anyone got experiences of booking and taking bikes on these trains? Thanks
