Re: The Galaxy range, confused to strange...

I have one, I did ask on here if anyone else had one or new anything about them, had no response. I bought mine in March of last year but due to back problems and spinal surgery I've hardly ridden it. In the short distance I have ridden it, it seems to be very comfortable, a bit on the heavy side. ...

Re: What this frame is about?

I had a Dawes Ranger from the mid 80s, very similar in appearance. I think the Evans in the original post would have been a quality bike in it's day. I think it's a big frame which exaggerates it's appearance.
Here's a picture of a Ranger, note the distance between the seat tube and rear wheel

I bought a Galaxy Cross last March, the price was £600, I said that was too much so LBS owner said you can have it for £450. £150 off just for asking

Re: Best (cycling) thing you ever bought?

Cycle Club membership, Falmouth Wheelers. Due to spinal problems and spinal surgery, I've not ridden for two years but I am slowly getting back. I've made some good friends and had some great rides with our club

Re: Sciatica

You need to get a proper diagnosis. I spent more than two years with sciatic type pain, spent a fortune on osteopaths and chiropractors, was examined by neurologists. Eventually an MRI scan showed severe spinal stenosis, I am now five weeks post op and hoping that I am now sorted, though not convinc...
