Re: Maintenance spreadsheet?
Not so much a maintenance spreadsheet but I keep a note of component mileage with an Excel spreadsheet using SUMIF or SUM formula depending on wether the component was fitted mid month or not.

Re: How long can a JOGLE take?
I'm toying with the idea of taking 2 weeks to do it though a day or two quicker, this is for 2023 so pleanty of time to plan things.

Re: Drop bar hydro disc brake set up with IS mounts
Shimano drop bar levers and MTB hydro callipers do work. I've been running Shimnao R7020 levers and M7000 MTB callipers on my commute bike with no issues.

Re: out front handlebar mount for GoPro - 22mm
I was in a similar quandry looking for a mount for the loop on my Redshift Kitchen Sink bars and bought a cheap mount from China and raided the spares box and used the shims from a USE light bracket, it works but does need a section removing for the mount clamp to close up enough.

Re: Disc brake caliper - advice/warning!
You can buy replacement pins from SJSC but not cheaply but they do come with an allen head rather than a slotted screw head. Stable door/horse bolted situation but copper grease for the new bolt will stop this happening again.

I've used the shortest screw I had and a presta valve nut as a spacer for the screw.

Think you're refering to these mouldings on the CF bars.
You need to FF to around 3:20.

Re: Is it too soon to be planning for 2022?
I've got some rides planned that I haven't felt able to do in the last two years, one ride is the Avon Cycleway and the other is Bristol to Shaftesbury and back via a certain cobbled hill.

I've had retinopathy scans and been in and out in 15 minutes, no eyedrops needed
Last year the person taking the pictures said we'll try without the drops and she was happy with the results so this year I asked if we could try and if they were unhappy with the images then we'd use drops, again this year the images were fine.
Last year I blagged the day off work for the appointment, this year it fell on a rest day but did give the opportunity to enjoy the rest of the day.

Re: Shorts Wearers in Winter
I work in 2c indoors all year round and when I'm order picking I wear shorts, my workrate and effort keeps me warm. On the bike I will have exposed skin on my legs year round too. Bibshorts in the summer, now with the addition of knee-warmers and maybe I'll go for 3/4 bibshorts in December.

Re: Shimano Ultegra hydaulic brakes, levers excessive travel
After bleeding go for a ride then do another quick bleed to get the last bit of air out of the system. I installed hydraulic brakes on my bike and they felt good and firm but after a ride I did a 2nd bleed and the number of air bubbles that appeared in the bleed funnel was quite high.

Re: Flat mount hydraulic brakes with flat bar levers
I've used MTB post mount callipers with road levers with no issues so that combination works fine. Shimano do flat mount Deore XT callipers which obviously work with flat bar MTB brake levers, lower level flat mount callipers might be available with resin pistons whereas higher end come with ceramic pistons. I believe the only difference between MTB & Road callipers are the branding on the outside.
