Re: Extreme difficulty fitting tyres on Ambrosio P20 rims
Many thanks for all the replies. The rim tape is quite thin, I didn't use tyre levers on the last attempt, I'll certainly look into the tyre fitting tool from wiggle, the rims are tubeless compatible but I didn't particularly want to go down this route so I bought these tyres: https://www.spacycles....

Extreme difficulty fitting tyres on Ambrosio P20 rims
I've recently had a new pair of Ambrosio P20 rims built up. I was looking forward to getting them on one of my bikes but, believe it or not two weeks later I'm still struggling to get a pair of tyres on them. I Know the rims were sold as tubeless compatible but I wanted to use them with tyres and tu...

Re: Which work spd shoes - 3000 miles per year?
I have used a pair of Quoc Pham for the last 2 1/2 years. They've been fantastic, comfortable straight out of the box. Used for daily rides and touring. I'd certainly recommend them and they'd be on my list when they wear out but I can't see that happening for a while.

Re: Anybody using a wok when cycle-touring?
Many thanks to all for the replies, I've purchased a small "wok for one"
non stick version. I'll give it a try at home before I venture out with it!!

I've got a trangia. Flat bottom woks are available.

Anybody using a wok when cycle-touring?
As the title asks, has anyone taken a small wok to use whilst cycle touring? I enjoy eating stir fry and it occurred to me that buying a small wok maybe a useful addition to my camping kit.

Many thanks for all your replies, I'm going down the powder coating route. My local LBS has used a company for various items and come recommend.

Re: Powder coating pannier racks
Not had any quotes yet I'd only thought about it this evening. I suppose I could use helicopter tape where the bag clips on. They're in good condition just wondered about the durability and cost. I'll source a local coating company for advice.

Powder coating pannier racks
As the title says, has anyone ever had racks powder coated or anodised? I have a pair / front and rear in silver but I'm currently rebuilding my touring bike and I'm leaning towards a black pair. Not sure if the cost of coating them would save much as opposed to buying new ones also is the coating h...

Chroming a frame
Has anyone had a frame completely chromed or rechromed recently? I've always liked the idea of a chromed frame bike and wondered what the cost would be?
