If your seat post is stuck in a steel frame send it, or drop it off to me. I'll remove it without any damage to the frame tube. Removed 14 so far using a well practiced cutting system. The good old "skin knife" process, as used for skin repairs on alloy airframes. £20 / frame .... Sorry, ...

can you not take the joints apart and re bond them ? Why? Aside form the potential corrosion that has taken place in the alluminium, which will make any further joinig process not as strong as it should be; the cost to neat and safely remove all the joints, clean, re-jig and put together, it all wo...

i would forget the fat bike

and try and find a good old 80's ish Road Touring bike and see how he gets on , and if he enjoys it then look for something newer
