Re: He's crashed!

Probably nothing to worry about.. if you think about what force they are likely to have taken in the fall, then it ps unlikely to be any worse than the rigours of day to day riding.

Giant 225MTB

Around 12 years ago I bought a bike for my daughter, A Giant 225 MTB with 24 inch wheels, I managed to convince her she didn’t need a pink one, And she was quite happy with Blue, The reason for buying the bike it was light had small brake levers and cranks, most importantly no suspension so was prop...

Re: Puncture on valve stem - solution

I think you mean Presta valves? Schrader valves can’t be unscrewed I believe Some Presta valves can be unscrewed other cant. but the Schrader ones just need the tool like this https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/-/-/-/-/?539770371&0&ws5_0087&msclkid=9b8fd79a2dd117be14f78ad8cc467845&u...

I am in Ipswich, Suffolk. I planned to use Kevin Ablitt "The Bicycle Doctor" for the wheel build, who was mentioned by one of the cycle shops. He seems to be a bit hard to get hold of though, doesn't respond to emails and I got a failure message back when I filled in the enquiry form on h...

Re: Corrin Dennis traditional touring shorts

I was in town at the weekend, and decided to pop into Millets to see if they had any crag Hopper Kiwi shorts. They didn’t but they did have some Berghaus walking shorts. Which ticked all my boxes, zipped pockets which are useful for recumbent riding, Velcro adjustment on the waste and legs, quick dr...

Re: My advice to those taking up or resuming road cycling

I think the heat is getting to some of you,

I thought David's Post was quite well written although I don't agree with it all, as little piece to those restarting and come on asking the questions he's probably got it about right.

Re: MP's reply to additional comments to recent Cycling UK form letter.

Your MP is your MP regardless of whether you vote for them or not. But if you want them to work with you. 1 write your own letter, template ones are pointless 2 Never insult there politics. Unless it is just a letter of complaint about their conduct 3. State what you want back it up with reasoned ar...

Wouldn't it be terrible thing if fascism did come back having crept up on us because everyone ignored the constant warnings made by people with the ability to spot fascism in others even where it doesn't exist? Re: Is Trump Mad?

The USA is sleep walking into Fascism, Make America Great is slowly becoming Make America White, and the Uk sliding that way as well. “First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was ...
