Re: Interesting new GPS
I'm thinking about a such a device and read Chris' recommendation for eTrex in CTC's magazine a few times, so interested to read adverse comments here about eTrex. So the Edge Touring is interesting, but I have a couple of questions: [list=] Turn-by-turn - is this voice directed - like a car SatNav ...

Re: Bar bag?
I have a Ortleib Ultimate bag on my wife's bike and my own tourer. I would say that I don't like the way the lid shuts. I can understand the hinge/sealed end of the lid being front facing, but the press-studs and slightly flippy-floppy lid itself doesn't make it easy to shut when it is full. On day ...

Re: Crosso Panniers
My Crosso panniers arrived today. They look great and feel very substantial. There is a roll-top as well as a lid attached with nylon webbing straps. And little pockets that can be strapped on as well. I got them in green which will nicely match the Kona (sad eh?). All I am waiting for now is my Cycl...

Re: Crosso Panniers
I have ordered using email , paid by PayPal, and seen via DPD Parcel tracking they they've crossed Poland and into Germany, crossed Germany. That's it so far. I went for front and rear Expert panniers (ie Big and Small). Crosso are a bit slow in getting responses to emails, but they are on an early ...

Re: Vaya or Sutra
I didn't consider the Salsa. But I had in my shortlist the following: Kona Sutra, Surly Long Haul Trucker, Dawes Horizon, Dawes Galaxy, Hewitt's own, Cannondale, EBC Revolution but they came down to either Kona or Surly - as I had a budget of £1000 (Cyclescheme) and that eliminated some on price and...

Re: Crosso Panniers
Progress....
I have contacted crosso by email as suggested, and they have replied. I'm just waiting to see how to pay. I'll let this thread update to record how it all goes.
They are planning to have the store updated and support overseas orders.

Crosso Panniers
I am really interested in getting some of these panniers - the Expert range front and back. I am looking for advice as to how I can get hold of them. The website, the commercial shop side, is only in Polish. I wondered if any CTC people might be interested in helping me organise an order. I have hea...
