i have bought this bike for the very same reasons you have stated. years of riding every kind of bike, and now settled for pootling/touring about and this seems to fit the bill. cheap and purposefull.
there is a rohan shop in Leeds in the Victoria Quarter. some nice clothing but a bit more walking specific. i have found some bontrager commuter trousers which are ideal, not too pricey also.
looking for some nice and tidy cycling clothing. not wanting anything technical from the likes of endura/altura type brands, and rapha is too small. looking for some nice three quarter trousers and some nice smart t shirts.
i am looking for some top quality touring pedals not spd type, but flat, to take a toeclip. i owned a set in the 80's that had a grease nipple fitted in them, but i cant remember what make they were.
hi, i am going to france in september using the bike express. i want to go down on the med route and get off near the pyrenees, and then spend a week cycling across to the atlantic side to come back on that route.
has anyone done this, and does anyone have a half decent route taking in some nice offroad.
thanks.
