An apology

Hi, at about 2pm on Sat 20th Nov I was on my bike nearing the mini roundabout (RAB) that connects the road up to White Lodge, the rise to Sheen Lane and the Richmond - Petersham gate road in Richmond Park, London. I was coming at the RAB from the direction of Richmond gate. As I approached it I saw a guy, maybe in his late 40's/early 50's, in black and silver/grey kit approaching the same roundabout cycling down from White Lodge. For those who don't know the RAB, from an aerial perspective if I was approaching from 0600 on the clock he was coming from 0300 and therefore by the laws of the road he had right of way....but for some reason my head couldn't compute this. All I could think of was having to slow down in my desperation to get as quickly as I could round the park. We hit the RAB at about the same time (me just after him) and I was so (unjustly) incensed I let go an expletive laden sentence alluding to his (totally absent) lack of consideration. On approaching Petersham gate it hit me that I had just behaved outrageously and instantly felt deep shame. I am often complaining about the lack of tolerance between motorists and cyclists and am utterly ashamed of adding to the already inflated amount of tension that exists on the UK's roads. This is made all the worse for me as the subject of my unfounded frustration was a fellow cyclist. And so I want to send my deepest apologies to the guy who was on the receiving end of my verbal assault. A long shot I know but if you know of anyone fitting this description then please point him in the direction of this posting.
yours in shame, FM
PS I've posted this on a few different forums so apologies if anyone is reading this again
