...surely it was Shroeder who played the little piano? :?

I believe you are right Si.

Mick, it isn't a good idea to sit with a laptop on one's lap, they can cause radiation damage to certain bits of male anatomy, which can lead to cancer.

Welcome to your wife.

Tommo, don't you have grounds for reporting an accident and possibly driving without due care and attention? I'd have informed the police.

I regret not getting back into cycling for so many years, but having done so now, I'm enjoying every minute. I might never be very fast or ride very far, or scale great mountains but what I do I love and that means there is always hope for improvement. :D

Another favourite of my Mum, was 'hirpling' meaning to limp. I love these onomatopoeic dialecticisms.

r2 any vehicle can become a lethal weapon, including a bike. We all need to improve our awareness and tolerance of other road users whether we're driving a truck or pootling about on a bike, we all have a responsibility to look after ourselves and others.

What about something with a fixed wheel, would that help push the affected foot up?

Remember with clipless pedals you have to be able to twist the foot sideways to release.

I hope you find something suitable, safe cycling!

If you jump a red light and get hit, you will be deemed liable to be contributing to the accident. If you stay within the law, at least you can use it. Neither strategy will necessarily protect you from accident but it might help the after affects.
