Lejog complete

Well that's is it's all over Devon didn't beat us Cumbria didn't beat us and Scotland certainly didn't beat us !! 960.46 miles in 15 days we started on the 4th sept and I suppose the weather was fairly good to us apart from the hurricane anyone thi boing of doing it make sure you train it helped me do it more comfortably . The ctc route is a little strange In parts and you need a mountain bike for some roads :-( on a whole it was a great experience but no leaves me asking what next ????? Route 66 :-)

Hi folks plans are now well under way hopefully staying free at army bases ect then from Chester onwards we are hiring a camper 6 birth my wife will be doing the driving for the last leg we are taking the yha route and taking 15 days to ride it as it's gonna be a holiday of sorts too so if any of you that have replied and are still interested feel free to call me and we can have a futher chat about It

Taking the yha route

Hi all
For our sept ride we are taking the yha route are the any parts
Of the route you would change there seems to lots of variations
One that concerns me is micks point of not going on the a82

Hi folks
Thanks for the help so far , just need some ideas of what we need to take we are doing it supported
So we have plenty of space
What will we need ie amount of shorts jerseys ect also what spares to take

Deffinately not a heads down ride gonna be doing it for the enjoyment
We are not fast riders probably averaging 14-17 mph

lejog starting 4th sept 2011 riders welcome

hi folks

right here goes i'm fairly new to riding on roads but i have been putting the miles in ready for the big ride, we will travel down on sat 3rd sept
and start the next morning so far there is 4 of us doing it and we are doing it to raise money for cancer research!!

we are going to do it in 12 days (hopefully) so if your interested please contact me as the more the merrier :D

other than that im looking for training advice i have been speaking to lynne taylor who has helped me loads on bike type ect
it helps as she's just down the road from myself .

we will have a support car or van with us at all times its not gonna be a power ride as we are all fairly new to it

hope to hear from more crazy folk like myself
