Re: What tours have you done? What do you want to do?

Hi,

Victoria bc to St.Johns NL.

Journal here www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/bikesbeersbears

As we had a limited time , yes of the Trans Canada Highway was extensively used.
Chatting to a fellow eastbounder we agreed the ride was mentally challenging.

Re: Travel Insurance

Bmc won't insure usa/canada for 90 days! What's that about? Also what I ride is donkeys years old, I don't carry a solid secure gold rated d lock. My gear is worth far more. May just take health insurance only for Canada trip.

Re: Danube Cycle Route: Vienna to Belgrade

I did all of the EV6. A few years ago, it s on Crazyguyonabike. From vague memory, East of Bratislava is lacking facilities as others have said, tho I didn't mind that, riding in Serbia reminded me of UK, it's cr*p.

On the Southern tier this spring never found it a problem obtaining gas. Walmart sells coleman, Dicks sells MSR also. RV parks rarely sell them.

Re: Canyon vs Cannondale

Impossible to say as others have said. Tho in my experience, the smaller the frame (realistically) the more comfortable is my opinion. Don't see many 6ft + pro,s riding large frame bikes.

I,d opt for the Canyon, if only for the BB.
