Have a read of my blog http://www.crazyguyonabike.com/doc/gibjog2013. Used a few camp sites, Burgos, logrono, pamplona to name a few.

'Licensing'. I think she made that bit up. LD Lines are not with it in my opinion, and I live in Poole. I'd ride to Pompey instead using Brittany.

Re: Danube cycle path
Rode the EV6 earlier this summer, yes it is flat, tho around Austria many high peaks surround the river, Very busy with boat trip day riders. I was camping, but i did see many guesthouses along the route. Enjoy your journey.

Surprised nobody carries a few dog biscuits, in the bar bag, rear pocket, in troublesome areas.

Re: Turin to Bratislava
Thanks for the info. It seems, I could run part of Eurovelo6, get dropped at Chalon, and head for Bratislava, this way. I've a chance of a free lift to Turin , so no need to get out in Italy.
well pleased.

Interesting views on the Sea view hotel, I arrived there Oct 3 last year totally knackered, from the days final ride, and checked in, my room was over the road, all new rooms etc and paid £25. b+b. The evening meal was pants tho'.

Re: A question about Spain
I rode from Gibraltar to JOG, last year, as for the 'boring' bit north of SA to VA? I loved it. The day from VA to BU was probably the highlight of my trip!. I camped mostly. see for yourself; www.crazyguyonabike.com/gibjog2013. Enjoy it.

Re: London to Poole Harbour route
I wouldn't use the prom personally, unless out of hours as such too many walkers and dogs(from end sept), and sand!. The prom starts from Southbourne and runs to Shore road, nr sandbanks.
