Thanks for that. You are quite right.
I have spent a bit of time over this past weekend going back and forwards onto Wiggle (both coming from CTC page and direct from Wiggle) and have now worked out the system and have also placed the order successfully, including my CTC discount AND with the free delivery. My LBS wasn't listed as being a supplier of the item on the website of the item (where I had to go to get the dimensions/weights etc as these were not shown on Wiggle - I intend to let Wiggle know that it is not very good showing inadequate details of the item) so I guess LBS would have just been able to order it in as I have done but I would have had to wait until today (Monday) for LBS to open again and then a trip into town, then a wait for it to come in, etc etc.....................
Wanting to get the item ordered,I made my order with Wiggle and it will be with me much quicker (hopefully!!) and also probably at a better price.

Re: CTC Shop powered by Wiggle

Just went to Wiggle via CTC shop, saw the price was discounted by 12% and it said "This order qualifies for Free delivery".
Went to look at basket and it asked for CTC number it then went back to basket BUT THE DELIVERY WAS NOW SHOWN AS £3.99.
When I tried the order via Wiggle direct (ie it didn't ask for CTC number) I qualified for free delivery and the price was £3.99 cheaper.
Perhaps this subject has been "done to death" but today's experience shows that something is amiss. Not only that but I had to go to the manufacturer's website to find out the dimensions and weights which were not shown on Wiggle. Not impressed with my first real attempt at making an order from them (despite being a CTC member since 1985), I normally prefer to physically look at an item before I buy it which is my excuse for not using them before.
By the way, I didn't complete the order - will try my LBS next time I am in town which is a bit of a pain but better service.

Re: Where's my post gone??

Thanks Mick, I normally do this with most things but stupidly, didn't do it this time. Will be sure to remember next time, a good lesson for me. Thanks for the tip and reply.

Re: Where's my post gone??

Thanks for the tips. Great shame, I shall have to compose and measure etc all again.I think I have learned from my experience and will make sure I save any details in future. At least I have the pictures saved on my pc, no attachments or anything in the UCP. I was hoping one of the moderators was going to send the details to me again but if it has gone, it has gone........................ Thanks for the help.

Re: Where's my post gone??

Thanks for that Gaz. Presumed that the posts would have stayed in the "View your posts" section of User Control Panel - not much control for the User! - thanks for your help.

Re: Where's my post gone??

Thanks Mark but I thought that it would stay in my "View your posts" section? I didn't delete it, it is just one of the rules of the particular For Sale section that they get removed from the board after 30 days I think it is? Stupid of me not to save it elsewhere but I thought all my posts would be in the "View your posts" section and there is nothing there??

Where's my post gone??

Hi,
I put a post on the For Sale - Complete bikes ONLY section and it is not listed in my posts. I didn't keep a copy and now that more than 30 days have elapsed, the post/text/words of my post seems to not be available for me to re-post (somebody came to view but it didn't fit them!), hence the reason for wanting to re-post it.
I know it is normal to remove it from the forum after 30 days but it is not listed in my posts either on my User Control Panel. Can I get a copy of it back from anywhere? Sorry if there are instructions for this somewhere but I couldn't find it/them.
Thanks
