Re: Carradice Super C rackbag on a Tubus Logo - stable?

I sold my Tubus Logo for the same reason-great with panniers but not so good with a rack bag. Cargo is a much better fit with the Super C bag. Have you tried the Super C AND panniers on the Cargo? If so how fiddly was it getting them on? Good point! Normally either or for me - most of the time rack...

Re: Which new canti's for a Raleigh Randonneur.

What's wrong with the original ones?

If you've got narrow boss spacing they are one of the best brakes available, can be upgraded with holders for xtr style slot in pads.

Re: what's going on with framebuilder steve goff?

He's still alive & building!

I know he's got quite a bit on at the moment and is working through a waiting list - Steve is a great builder - keep onto him and you won't be disappointed when it's finished.

I'm prob going to order another one from him later on in the year.

Re: Does tyre pressure make so much difference

30 years ago I when I was a time trialling racing snake I would have said the narrowest tyre pumped up as hard as possible was best, but now a days old age and rubbish roads its wide tyres and low pressures!

My hands and wrists can certainly tell now if my front tyre is pumped up too much!

Re: Carradice

Hi Colin,

The bagman support will fit on a B17 so long as you have at least 10mm of the parallel part of the saddle rails spare behind your seat post.

For iPhone users go on the compass app and swipe right, this turns your iPhone into a very useful spirit level and inclinometer.

On closer inspection it's actually 8mm! Which is the largest size in my Teng set.
