The stoker is always right.If you fall out with your stoker you might as well sell the bike.

If you have never ridden a tandem before I strongly suggest that you try one out before you flex your credit card.Tandems are very different to ride ( but much more enjoyable ) than solos and require communication between stoker and captain.You may find it a bit awkward at first but perserverance pa...

Yes,since posting I have had a Google around ( should have done it first ) and it appears the magnets from the Schmidt hub are the problem.

I will do as you suggest and move the sensor further up the fork and see if this sorts it out.

Wireless Computer Interference

We have a wireless Shimano Flightdeck on the front of the tandem along with a B & M Oval Senso Plus headlight which uses an LED. I have discovered that when the LED is lit the speed and distance readings of the Flightdeck don't function.Obviously there is some interference of the computer signal...

I think one of the strangest anomalies regarding reflectors is that they are not mandatory at the point of sale for tandems or workbikes.

Whatever your view on reflectors then if they are deemed to be useful on a solo then why not a tandem.
