Re: Sealed BB drive side cup issue

The BB runs OK and the rest of the bike runs perfectly so I may take this course of action. Who knows, I may get lucky

Re: Sealed BB drive side cup issue

It's not that one as the sleeve is metal not plastic. Can't tell unless I take it apart. I hope to god someone hasn't threaded it 'backwards'?

Sealed BB drive side cup issue

Two posts in a week, what a faff! After fixing my bike light I decided to give my commuter a bit of an overhaul/clean. Unfortunately in doing so I discovered that the cup on the drive side (It's an octalink BB so the fixed side is on the left) was loose. No problem, I thought, I'll take off the cran...

Re: Bike light battery replacement

Looks like I found the problem. Just pulled the circuit board a bit and the cables came straight out the end of the outer cabling and had been cut in two. Another job for the weekend!

Bike light battery replacement

Howdy. i recently bought a BBB BLS-63 front light set on ebay after seeing a post from someone pointing to it on here. The light has been pretty good but it has suddenly stopped working. Probably due to me slinging the battery pack over the handlebars instead of strapping it to the top tube as I was...

Re: Tandem 1 1/8" threaded headset advice

I've found a Kona impact headset on ebay for £30 (the ones with the allen key lock nut) so will give that a go. Looks pretty beefy!

Tandem 1 1/8" threaded headset advice

It's time to change our tandem headset to something which is going to take the knocks after our current one decided to give up the ghost. I am pretty hot on 1" threaded headsets but when it comes to 1 1/8" I don't know where to start! I'm not keen on spending a fortune so Chris King is def...

Re: The Worst Bike Shop Review Ever

Leaving aside any actual shop names, what's the worst shop review you've ever read? This one, I think takes some beating! 'A man whom I assume is the owner has an entirely odd method of interacting with the public, condescending and rude, has mistaken the concept of needs analysis with interrogatio...
