screw on 7 speed cassette with 32 tooth largest cog
Lookng for a 7 speed cassette to go on my tourer. I'm hoping for a 32 or 30 largest cog with a nice range going down to 12 or so on the smallest. Any suggestions? I have seen the ultra drive shimano but I think the jump will be too big. My suntour VGT rear derailleur should manage 32 teeth (maybe ev...

Why not post an ad in the wanted ads section of the forum? You'll get way more bike for your buck if you have no aversion to getting a second hand bike!

Re: Shiny syndrome
Not so much siny syndrome as 'if I don't buy that I'll be regretting it for the rest of my life'. Was on a freeads site and saw an 'Eddie Merckx' racing bike for sale in Pontefract for £200. thought, well that it's likely to be a falcon model but I'll call up anyway. Surprise surprise it was a 1998 ...

Re: Campag chorus freehub problems
Bearings ordered! Any advice on grease? My dad had the oppurtunity to buy a whole tub of camapg grease at a bike jumble for a fiver but he never did. Always talking about it/regretting it!

Re: How safe is cycling?
Welcome back to the world of cycling! If your looking for quiet lanes and an idea of where to go why not pop into your local bike shop? Alternateively have a look and see if there are any clubs in your area which you could join. Most larger clubs have a variety of rides available from the leisurely ...

Re: Campag chorus freehub problems
Thanks for that. The diagrams are great but I can't find the hubs on the document you suggested or find the section of the campag site where I can download them. Sorry to be a pain  Can you suggest a place to buy OE quality bearings? These hubs should last for a hell of a long time if looked a...

Re: Campag chorus freehub problems
Hey there. thanks for your reply. There are 3 springs with 3 pawls. I placed all the bearings in, greased neatly and then slipped the freehub body through before added the cone nad nuts to the non drive side. There seems to be a hell of a lot of wobble on there, I thought I'd used the wrong size bea...
