Re: listening to music whilst cycling
Thank you. That is my point, none of us have been everywhere and done everything. Though there are those who just can't stop talking as if they had. Few and far between thankfully. Gentle hints don't shut them up, a broadside would not be appropriate, stick the head phones in, they soon get the hint and find a more appreciative audience. Everyone is happy. Perfect.

Re: listening to music whilst cycling
Hi, as a cyclist of 51 years, ( got first bike at 3) and a long term tinnitus sufferer, I have listened to music whilst cycling for a while now. Used with a bit of basic common sense I really don't see the problem. I'm sure most of us listen to the radio while driving? Helps to block out very dull conversation from other cyclists who have been everywhere and done everything too

Just get on it and go. you will soon find your limit. Then start to extend it. Bit longer rides bit faster. It all comes naturally. Most of all enjoy and don't get hooked on someone else's goals.

The more you spend the better it is. To a point granted, I'm sure you can still spot the expensive bling.

Try an extra base layer or two. Keep the body core warm to free up blood for the hands and feet. Good luck
