Re: Spa Ti Audax

To follow up - I picked mine up on Friday last week, after a slight delay waiting for the right headset spacers. Still only took 2 weeks from ordering. I've put just short of 100 miles in it over the last few days and I LOVE IT. After riding 2 factory built Cubes for about 4000 miles of crashing thr...

Re: 10 day tour - Normandy or Brittany?

I did some pedalling in Cap Frehel (brittany) last year - very pretty I'd recommend it. Quite wild in parts, good surfing if you're into that!

Re: Cycling through Italian mountain tunnels

I've motorcycled a good deal in that area and the big long tunnels are a bit mad max - the italians drive like nutters and big accidents are common. That said, a hundred yard tunnel with open sides on a quiet road is very different to a dual carriageway tunnel that is 10km long with everyone doing 1...

Crask Inn is really popular with the lads in the scottish branch of my motorcycle club, I've been in and it's a cracking place. You can camp there from memory too

Re: Child Seats

I have a Co-Pilot Limo which my little girl has been transported in since she was 1. It's a rear fitting seat and comes with a Blackburn EX1 rack which the seat has been designed to fit. It attaches very securely to the rack, and has a good harness that clips the sprog in, plus a big safety bar that...

Re: Spa Cycles (Harrogate)

I went in for a test ride on an Audax Ti yesterday, superb bike and staff were excellent. The grey bearded chap who took my order was a really nice bloke, couldn't fault the service. I came away a very positive experience, this was despite the chaos of the new shop!! Looking forward to getting my ne...

Re: Spa Ti Audax

Hi there. I test rode one yesterday and ordered as a result. I have only been riding proer bikes again for a couple of years, so I'm comparing against a Cube Nature (hybrid) and a Cube Attempt (race bike). The difference for me was night and day - the Spa is very plush, stable, but still nice and li...
