Re: Folding bike.

I had the three speed version of that Raleigh bought new.I`m 6 foot tall and probably weighed 80kgs then.I adapted the stem to give some forward reach which improved steering and comfort. It was used a lot before being stolen without any problems.

Re: Plunger Brake Block

Is it a spoon brake, i can`t really see from the photo?
All of the ones i have seen have been a metal `spoon` onto the tyre, although i recall a wooden faced spoon as well i think.
Have you got a better photo of the brake, how about the VCC?

Re: Weinmann Centre Pull

The double setup looks a candidate for a pair of noodles.
Had a pair of the latter, thought they would be a lot more efficient than the cable straddle but can`t say i noticed.

Ishiwata ex triple butted tubing.

What would the Reynolds tubing equivalent be to the above tubing be?
Seat post dia is 26,8mm.
It`s a Japanese built 90s Bridgestone `cross`
I`m guessing the triple butting is in three distinct stages from the lug towards the tube middle rather than two, weight saving?
