I would like to work out whether a high strength retainer/adhesive could work in bonding two cassette sprockets together successfully (largest to it`s neighbour via a full form spacer/disc) I can find out the sheer strength of a certain product and apply that to the known surface areas being joined,...

Re: Freewheel outrigger bearing etc...

Thank you chaps.
So no 3/8" hollow axles then?
The overhang between the`core`spline end and last sprocket is over 7mm BTW, less would have been better.
Hub is Pelisier.
I`m 90kg not 80!

Freewheel outrigger bearing etc...

Hi. About to put together a Shimano 14-28 7 speed freewheel, 80s(?),36h LF French hub(possibly Pellisier)/, nice Mavic (EC2?)rim swap to fit into my Raleigh Veloce 1990 (531 `racer`) The plan is to fit a cartridge outrigger bearing to support the freewheel/axle on the extreme right and standard, but...

Re: Odd one - stiff bottom bracket - but only in one direction

Had this once, turned out to be a broken bearing cage that would jam the BB axle in one direction only.
