I am astounded that you would get 15 to 20000 miles use as to be honest i expected around 2000 miles. no nonsense heavy duty degreaser from screwfix

Have any ctc members used this and if so what is it like? I normally use the halfords citrus degreaser which is very good but it costs £10 a litre, whereas the screwfix one only costs £7 for 5 litres. I just want to use it in a chain bath and for cleaning the sprockets and jockey wheels. Thank you i...

I went down to the local recycling centre to look for a tensioning spring and it is such a shame some of the stuff that is thrown away, bikes with good saddles, tyres, gears, wheels, drivetrain, etc, i bet that these could be put to good use in third world countries.

Thanks brucey, i just cannot get any tension on the brake arm no matter which way i screw the tensioning screw, when i screw it right in, the screw keeps turning round all the time.

I am putting new handlebar grips on a mountain bike can anyone please advise me how to make them stick to the bars?
