Sending my Trike to Australia

Hi All I'm trying to plan a long ride in Australia. I am intending to go from Fremantle to Sydney in April May next year 2015. Does anyone have any idea's on how to get it there. I think it may be too big to take on the plane with me. I am thinking of getting it shipped or planed over beforehand and...

Re: Tick tick ticking despite new kit

I second that colin

if thats not an option then

if you feel it in your feet its the chainset problem

if you feel it in your backside its a wheel problem

either way to test either the back wheel needs to be off the ground to spin the cranks to investigate

good luck

it could be a question of gear ratio there may be too much torque being given to driving the front wheel causing it to break free a lower ratio gear will mean more cranking to get the wheel rolling and crawling uphill it used to be a regular problem with the first generation of front wheel drive car...

Doesn't say anything about only being an ICE trike. So some embarrassment may ensue but it is a good opportunity to see the arctic trike up close and personal.

Re: Venturing Out.....Safely....

To be safe on the road riding any kind of hpv is to own the road. Most car drivers are aware of the broken white line down the center of the road and will try and squeeze there car between you and the center line forcing you into the lumpy (Potholes and dropped drains) and grit infested gutter. I pl...

Re: Antarctic challenge... White Ice Cycle

Standard cruciform and steering (which means that the geometry was actually wrong) - Maybe or maybe not. Putting 26" wheels with fat tyres moves the axles up by around 5" or 125 mm. But putting fat tyres (4" or 100mm) on moves the center of the contact point out by around 30mm. Steer...
