For what its worth, I have a little experience to pass on.
I used 6mm stack on the left shoe for my Look Delta cleats for about 10 years, following a bike fit.
I moved to new Shimano SPD SL pedals last year and decided to experiment with having no stack at all. So far, no serious issues have cropped up in 18 months, over and above those expected after 60 plus years of wear and tear that I have anyway ! Dealt with by stretching/yoga moves.

Re: Ex-Post Office CEO Paula Vennells
So what happened to the money that the Post Office "printed" in order for them to accuse the postmasters of fraud? this money that must have appeared as profit or loss on their balance sheet. Who audited their books ?
Or is it that easy to create new cash from thin air?

Re: Favourite tea shops
There's a new tea shop at Coalhouse Fort in East Tilbury, Princess Margaret Rd, Tilbury RM18 8PB
www.coalhousefort.co.uk/
Excellent toasted tea cakes and a proper coffee machine.
You can get to it very easily from the The Thames path which links back to Tilbury Fort
(As a matter of interest both forts are worth a visit)

Re: Essex: Dramatic rise in the number of serious cycling ro
I am not surprised. Living in the South of the County I can attest to the dangerous behaviour of a small minority of drivers; some deliberate intimidation, but much of it pure inattention or incompetence. In fact I note that only 1 of my daily evening rides in June was incident free !

Re: Essex Wheelers Cycle Club
Mind you Becontree Wheelers wasn't formed until 1925 so that narrows the field for you.

Re: Essex Wheelers Cycle Club
I have never heard of the Essex Wheelers. It sounds like the name is a mix of the Essex Roads and the Becontree Wheelers. Both clubs are still active.

Useful site ?
I just found www.immobilise.com
looks useful. Has anyone here got any experience of it ?
Specifically, is it a spam generator if I use it ?
