I too have the same issue for the same reason. We are planning to do the Lon Las Cymru, and cost of trains from Scotland is ridiculous, and we need an early start, and then will ba a late finish at end. I'd be interested to know what you decide - we will be in a VW Transporter and I feel uncomfortable parking this outside someone's house.
Phil1965 - would eb interested to know location of car park 1 minute away from station. Do you know if you can park for more than 24 hours, and also if it's multi-storey (height restrictions not good with van)??
