Re: Anyone cycled the Welsh coast?

I did a Lap of Wales as training for a longer ride about 3 years ago I lived near Bristol at the time, cycled across the Severn Bridge, I cut inland across Brecon as I couldn't find a nice route through Newport and Cardiff then down to the coast. Around Pembrokeshire, up the coast to Anglesea. Along...

Re: Coast of UK?

Be careful not to let other people impose their rules on you. I've had this happen to me a few times. I like End to Ends, and Coast to Coasts. I rode top to bottom of America, cycled in via Canada from Vancouver and out via Mexico through Washington State, Oregan, California, etc. Got some that's no...

Re: Coast of UK?

Why do you need rules? It's your ride. I'd think of them as guidelines to help you plan If the rules say 'You Must do road A....', but there is a better, nicer, more scenic, more bike friendly route 1/2 mile inland, why do a road that isn't as nice? As I mentioned in my earlier post I'm missing Newc...

Re: Coast of UK?

Im finishing mine this year, but I didn't know I was doing it until I'd done half of it I saw a post on here and liked the sound of it, but then realised I'd done a lot of it on other tours: 3 lejogs (different routes), Lap of Scotland, Lap of Wales, Coast of Cornwall, Hebrides, Lap of Devon and liv...

Legal Costs after an accident

A friend of mine just posted this on fb, is the same true of Cycling UK "In 2013 the rules regarding the recovery of legal costs in the event of a successful personal injury claim were changed such that they are now typically taken as a deduction of up to 25% of any settlement made. This includ...

Re: What do you think of this multi-tool?

https://www.evanscycles.com/topeak-survival-gear-box-EV162387 to me it's over priced for what you're getting. That was my initial reaction, but I'm not sure if i could put it together cheaper for the same quality. I really like the allen keys with different sizes at different ends - that seems to b...
