Nine years is certainly a long enough time to form a true opinion and I agree with you that tyre choice is the biggest problem ,maybe even more so now than 13 years ago
I use Schwalbe tyres on all my bikes ,usually between 85 to 100 psi
The tyres at present on the Strutt are also Schwalbe ,but with a recommended top pressure of 65 psi. !
It feels like I am running with a permanent slow puncture
These are 37-540 and I am always looking for a higher pressure tyre in that size ,but do not feel confident in finding one
However ,I do still very much enjoy riding it , now I guess a piece of bike history

As it appears from the lack of response to my initial post , maybe the bicycle is even more uncommon than I thought.
Perhaps members would be interested in a photograph of my very early Mk.1

As Strutt bicycles are are fairly uncommon ,I would like to know if any other members own one and if so ,which model ?
Mine is an early Mk 1 Worksong and I would very much like to hear other owners experiences of this bike
