Re: Goretex seams

I've used this stuff fairly succesfully, you iron it on with a layer of brown paper under the iron. It started to separate from the jacket I used it on after a few years, I may not have got it hot enough to bond properly though. https://www.profabrics.co.uk/products/seam-sealing-tape-for-3-layer-fab...

What Has Made You Laugh Today ?

I was outside the local Asda today and noticed this funky looking ambulance service vehicle. https://www.flickr.com/photos/136359789@N02/49055953128/ I heard a voice behind me exclaim to his partner with no apparent sense of irony, '' look at that ambulance, tha's sick tha' '' (Skem/Scouse accent )....

The train travels very slowly over this section, so as well as the horrible circular saw type noise from the wheels you also ge...

Re: Muzak in (food) stores, at stations etc: love or hate?

I think you're really talking about background music, not Muzak, which has a specific meaning. I like it(music), sometimes, if they're lucky in the local Asda, they'll be playing something by Stevie Wonder and I can whistle along to his harmonica solos. If you like JJ Cale, this live in-studio performance with Leon Russell is excellent ,
they make it look easy.

I just had a quick look before I go out, that's a well presented and interesting video Dave.
I like that you gave the reasoning behind your choices, I'll give it a longer look later on.
