iPad mini would be OK and you may be able to fit it in a bar bag map flap. At least you'd be able to see the maps!
Using an Ipad for GPS on a bike

Does anyone out there know how I can use my ipad as a GPS on my cycle and what downloads I can get to facilitate this.

I would like to be able to have OS maps on the ipad
I would like to be able to plot rides on the ipad at home
I would like to be able to follow the route on the ipad as we are doing the ride

If anyone has any simple ( easy to follow) tips, I will be very grateful.

Cycling & Replacement knee operation

After 55 years of cycling all over the place, my right knee has finally given out and I am going to have a total knee replacement operation - only option available if I want to hgave anything like a normal life in future.
Have any forum members, or family members had such an operation?
What was the outcome w.r.t their ability to continue cycling?
Did they have any problems?
Did they have to modify their bikes?

Any feedback will be appreciated :(
