Re: Cats: Why? Why not?

Another pet is being vetted before joining the family of Joseph Robinette Bidon Junior in the white house - a cat! Major the dog got into some scrapes, I wonder if he likes cats?

What might it be called? Minor? Thatcher? Bliar?

The big descent surely needs a lot of braking too, but a different type of braking?

Re: Boris's Brain is missing

Reminds me of an abba song: "One of us is lying" :?
Significantly, perhaps, it was their last international hit

What, both are lying bojo and docu? Is that possible, logically must not one of them be telling the truth?

On another forum thread drift can lead to a Written Warning and a request for explanation :?

Yes, I know his secret. Got a collection of Sempes cycling cartoons too

I think it is worth reading the books in French, the cartoons are the main thing

This has been mentioned here before, have a look in the Brucey archive. I have 26x 1 1/4 tyres on one cycle, I only use it once a year

Re: AGM 2021 the use of motor vehicles.

I do not want more cycling before there is (1) more space for cycling and (2) less motor traffic

You mentioned driving to events, if there are more events, more driving to events, and more cycling, -2

Simply advocating 'more cycling', often the media understand it thus, is not desirable

Re: AGM 2021 the use of motor vehicles.

"Encouraging cycle use to benefit the environment", I really can not support that phrase. I hope you mean "encouraging transfer from car to cycle"

We really must try to stop advocating " more cycling" without mentioning reducing motor travel!

Cycled very slowly past the adventure playground by the river. How delightful to see and hear kiddies (and grandparents) screeching and gambolling in the sunshine

Re: Feeding the birds

Saw several thrushes close, they seem to be quite brave, and a green-yellow woodpecker just a couple of metres away, it made off when it saw me slowing down to observe it
