Re: Ortlieb bar bag fixing

I'm pleased you weren’t looking for one last year :)
This, I think, was my bargain of the year all brand new and yes fully interchangeable with my other Ortileb and R&K mounts.

Re: Induction Cordless Kettle.

Now my head is boiling over. I spent a sleepless night trying to decipher the OP. This morning with coffee I thought I’d cracked it and worked out a full translation. Hi, Not even sure then do an induction contactless one? I thought if you don’t know what an induction kettle is then Google it :D Buy...

Re: Pan Celtic Race / Adventure cycle 2019.

I have entered this event. Was insurance included in the entry fee? I was speaking to a rider yesterday who was interested, but thought he needed to arrange his own insurance and couldn't find any, CUK and BC policies don't cover it. I thought it was included in the entry. RULES ... 9. Insurance It...

Unfortunately a life time in the countryside surrounded by animals and septic tanks leaves you as an excrement expert.

Re: Alternatives To Winter Cycling Specific Shoes / Boots??

Throughout my working life if I wasn’t in wellies I was in Dealer boots. In latter years I discovered Dickies to be long lasting and VFM. The pair listed above would have been outvof my price range even with a generous discount :D

Re: Removing BB woes.

I'm rather reluctant to squirt any PlusGas into the BB - will only make an existing problem worse.

Why?
Surely you’re going to replace worn components and clean everything before assembly.

I read this morning that they were a couple of cyclists, spotted packing drones into their panniers, which explains why it took so long to see them.

Re: Suggestions for Campsite Finder App

Using Google maps just type in camping in the search box and it will show you all the campsites. Click on any one and it will show you their website. If the site interests you click on the star and if you have a Google account the site will be highlighted with a star on your map. Simplest way to fi...

Re: Do you drink too much?

I used to drink far too much. A typical week would be 20 pints a few bottles of wine and quite a number Gins. That was aged 55-60 and I can see now it was purely stress related with work. Now I couldn’t even drink a bottle of wine if I wanted too I’d have a bad head and indigestion. Current tipple i...
