Re: Have you lit the fire yet?

Indoor temp 22C outdoor 13C no need for a fire here. Have been cutting and splitting logs today though another3-4 barrow loads and that’s the wood shed full for another winter.

If your BB holds out until Carlisle then visit Palace Cycles. They’ve an excellent reputation for helping out E2E nders.

Wondering  would joining the two with a large laggy band around the rims do whatever job you’re trying to achieve.

If i remember correctly this was also the day when our backup crew had much hilarity with the Cock of the North / Penis tree plantation off the M74

Rode that direction this morning up to the summit. What a head wind it was today thankfully we didn’t have it last year.

Re: 'Sprintech' rear view cycle mirrors.

I don’t catch the mirror ever with my knee. Parking yes it can get knocked. Recent Heb tour and every time I retrieved my bike to leave the ferry the mirror had been knocked. Not a long term problem with the B&M it resets in a flash no damage done and never a sign of constant knocks weakening it.

John I pointed out your typo with a smile we’ve all made them. I failed to see even a glint in your response. I also referred to a search here will give you nearly 5000 posts with reference to "mirrors". A search for Sprintech gives a least 40 posts and I felt you might find many answers t...
