Hi John
I'm from Donegal and my partner and I are going to cycle the Donegal coast at Easter. There is a new route (road) called The Wild Atlantic Way.
It'll probably be wet and windy but the craic will be mighty.

Pushing is often as quick as pedalling. I pushed a lot in the Atlas Mountains and I am not ashamed. My partner rarely got off his bike and as long as I could still see him, I knew I was not really losing too much ground. On the plus side, when I got back on again, I felt revived and other muscles go...

Well it depends... what sort of mountain bike have you got? My first two tours were short (2 weeks each) and so I used my mountain bike, a fairly basic hardtail. I only had to invest in some road tyres, a rear rack and panniers, which I could easily have sold if it hadn't been my cup of tea. I'm ne...
