Rear Wheel Replacement Triban 3

I discovered I had play in my rear wheel & when I stripped the hub I found it contained some of the rain and flood water I've been riding through over the last few months! At the moment the hub still has some play and doesn't seem to run smoothly. I had to use the same bearings to rebuild as the...

Re: Lowering Gearing - Triban 3

Update: New chain ring fitted easily, works as it should and tested out on 40 mile ride. Lower gears definitely a bit easier on the hills so pleased with result. Summing up: Fitting a Stronglight T26 chain ring should be okay, check bolt size and for any offset Would be slightly outside specification but should be OK - explanation of to...

Lowering Gearing - Triban 3

I purchased a Triban 3 just over a year ago and have been very pleased with it, but feel I having some lower gears would help me. It is fitted with Shimano STI Sora 2300, rear cassette is 12-25, front triple is 50/39/30. I've read up as much as I can but still find myself a bit uncertain about possi...
