Re: Double to Triple conversion

The S600 I have is a 2x10 (double). It looks like I could add another ring but it would come very close to the crank arm. I have seen triple versions on the web though. I have played with chain ring / rear sprocket ratios quite a bit, but as yet I haven't been able to come up with everything I want....

Double to Triple conversion

Hello All I have a 2x10 speed drive train set-up at present which consists of: - SRAM X7 front mech - SRAM X7 rear mech - SRAM SL-500 shifters - SRAM PG1030 cassette - SRAM S600 chain set (power spline) It seems a lot of people are going the other way but I am considering updating to a triple (3x10)...

SRAM Cassette Splitting

I am considering merging two SRAM PG 1030 cassettes together. The first is 11,12,14,16,18,21,24,28,32,36 The second is 12,13,14,15,16,17,19,21,23,26 My idea is to make a 11, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 28, 36 Is this feasible? I think the 11 and 13 will be ok and so will the 15, 16, 17, 18, 19. The ...

Gear ratio change

Hello all, I'm new to this forum and not sure what has been posted in the past. I've just got back to cycling after a 15 or so year break - things have changed especially me! The amount and variety of components available seems to be immense! I have a second hand Specialised Crosstrial comp with SRA...
