What happened to the Rear Shifting article?

I went to the Rear Shifting article that I'd bookmarked ages ago. I was expecting to find cable pull tables, info on shiftmates, etc and gear spacings for Shimano, Campy & Sram that used to be there. Unfortunately what seems to be there now is from the Ladybird Book of Gear Shifting. What happen...

Re: Can I easily convert Sram Apex 10 speed to 11 speed

Thanks for that mattsccm and CyberKnight. I'll probably stick with 10 speed. I didn't know an 11 speed cassette was wider, I thought they'd just reduced the spacings between sprockets and squeezed another one in.

Can I easily convert Sram Apex 10 speed to 11 speed

My Boardman Road Comp right (Rear) shifter has given up the ghost. I looked on-line and I can get a pair of Sram Apex 10 speed shifters for not much more than a single shifter. Then, looking a bit further I saw that I can get a pair of Sram Rival 22 11 speed for the same price. If I put the Rival sh...

Re: New BB30 crankset

The bike is fixed, has been for a week. I got a shop to run a tap through the crank to clean up the threads. The bike is not new, I fitted the pedals some time ago and they were definitely correctly fitted, the left hand one may have unscrewed over time but I didn't notice. I'll keep an eye on them ...

New BB30 crankset

Tonight as I cycled home my left hand pedal fell off. I hadn't noticed it coming unscrewed although it might have and now I can't screw the pedal back in as the tread in the crank arm is damaged. The tread on the pedal is undamaged and I can screw it into the back of the crank arm. The bike is a Boa...

Re: Boardman Road Comp bike and mudguards?

I have a 2012 Boardman Road Comp. I have fitted Crud Racer II (http://www.crudproducts.com/roadracer-mk2/) mudguards to mine and I think they work well.

Reproofing a tent - recommendations

Our tent has started to leak a bit in heavy or prolonged rain. Anyone got any recommendations for reproofing product and/or any tips on applying it? So far I've seen products from Fabsil and Nikwax that are either paint on, spray on or an aerosol.

Having to pay extra for showers when you've already paid a reasonable amount for the pitch. I don't mind paying extra for showers if the pitch is cheap.

Re: Post To Post Disc Brake Adapter

I believe the post mounts on forks are a standard size/width apart and you just but the adaptor to fit the size of disc you have and the type of calliper (post mount or IS). Loads of adaptors can be found here http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/brake-spares/brake-adaptors?f=2258
