Re: Power bank

… I’ll definitely enjoy the day in which people will start to talk about powerpacks and batteries mentioning, besides their mAh, also the reference voltage … I would imagine thats a long way off as most peoples electrical knowledge consists of V=I*R from school :D I did electromechanics 30 yrs ago ...

Re: Power bank

When cycling .. turn your phone off. In the old days .. there were no cell phones, indeed most hoses had no landline phone either. So ... cut down your phone use and that will cut down your battery use and make you more efficient. I remember cycling through the green and pleasant countryside shouti...

Re: Power bank

Hi,

I have sent a PM - the dynohub works the same but supplies more, I have it going into an e-werk which allows you to adjust the voltage/ampage combination.

Re: Power bank

I reckon I'm a bit like sweep so rather than start a new thread, as my wheels have very few miles on them for a dynohub I wasn't going to bother with on the go charging charging beyond a nifty little hilucky power bank I picked up that has three fold out solar panels to give a 7w charge and a dinky...

Re: Cotter Pin Press/Removal Tool

@Chromo @Brucey Thanks both for your tip on the ball joint separator, arrived today 5 min later both cotterpins out, I placed a piece of metal in the hole where I had tried to drill and that pushed through as well, strangely it didn't pop but just slid out under tension. Crank is intact and no damag...

Re: Cotter Pin Press/Removal Tool

I am still looking at a cotterpin removal tool if I can source one, I am also going to see if I can take it into a machine shop to see what they can do.

Re: replacement bulb for vintage sturmey archer

the bulb is rated at 6V, 0.15A. IIRC it is paired with either a 0.05A or a 0.1A rear bulb. Some folk need a 0.2A front and a 0.1A rear if they have small wheels or ride very fast most of the time. If you fit an LED front, it is best if you fit an LED rear as well. cheers Thanks Brucey, Hunting for ...

replacement bulb for vintage sturmey archer

Hi All, just restored the light set on my Raleigh all steel bike and I am looking for a replacement bulb - there are some numbers on the bulb: CRY9.6V 0.15AGT.BR - nothing comes up for this on google, it will be powered by a FG 60 11 dynohub I would like to replace with either the original or an LED...
