I've got a puncture already in the front tyre which seems to have worn pretty badly and i've oly done about 25 miles on the bike so far. Would it be better in the long run to spend more on some decent tyres now, such as the continental ones, rather than buying cheaper ones?

Yeah that's the readings from the tyres. Can you recommend some durable tyres, with good grip in the wet, that don't cost an arm and a leg please? What is the max width of tyre i could use on those wheels?

I've just bought a record sprint off ebay and the wheel sizes are different, the front is 700 23c (23 622) and the rear is 700 25c (25 622) . Is this usable? The bike is in good condition generally no rust was just going to put some new tyres on and noticed the difference. I am not an expert...
