i think its time i just called it at a day and got my bloody wallet out haha. ill let the bike shop take it off my hands and give it back in a repaired state. at least i got the headset a bit cheaper, right?

having done a bit of research it sounds like it just wont fit properly without the new cups too. i guess its time to give in and go to the shop

so i just got the new headset, but ive realised i dont have a headset cup removal tool... im thinking i could just take the inner bit and fit that in the old cup? it seems like it would fit if i gave it a tap down... or would you suggest doing the whole thing? im a bit scared of taking a hammer to m...

I sort of wish someone had caught it on camera, it wouldve been a good one for youtube. my hand is fine, a bit stiff. bit of road rash, chipped tooth, stiff neck. Its a rather embarrassing story, I was riding along and spotted a lump of mud on the forks of my beautiful shiny bike. Rather than leave it there or stop to wipe it off I decided to try and do it whilst in motion. From here my hand went into the front wheel and locked up on the forks. I flew forward...

So I had a pretty horrific crash yesterday and landed on my head. Luckily my helmet did its job. Anyway, after the crash my bikes in a bit of a state.
